Just wanted to link in with you following the Social Care Ireland Conference 2023. It’s hard to believe our initial contact was way back on the 11th of October 2019!!! The conference was a fantastic success. I would like to extend my heartful thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff at Mount Wolseley without whom we could not have run such a large and successful event. Each and every member of the Mount Wolseley team were exemplary and always on hand to assist us in every situation. To say they all went above and beyond is an understatement and the hotel should be so proud to have such excellent staff working in your fine establishment. The staff got to know all of the committee in a very short period of time and greeted us warmly with every request. The ease at which we were able to deliver such a large conference is further highlighted by the excellent feedback to date about the conference, the hotel, the staff and the facilities. Those of us involved understand the planning and organising that go on in the background of these events and Social Care Ireland Conference Committee of which I am lucky enough to be a part of, thank you and your team so sincerely for being a part of our two day conference, delivered to people who deliver services to the most vulnerable in our society.

All in all, the delegates and guests enjoyed their stay tremendously. They were very complimentary of the hotel, and I personally, am delighted with all your staff who looked after me incredibly well. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending your hotel for future meetings.
You had a wedding at the hotel both Friday and Saturday nights, and not once did I feel we were less of a priority. Your superb care has to be commended. Many of the delegates, all of whom are consultant or trainee surgeons, have stated that they would be back, on a personal level, to enjoy your hospitality again.

I am writing to you in relation to the DPD Ireland Annual Conference this year and wanted to drop you a quick note to commend your staff – they assisted us greatly while organising the event and in making it a great success overall.
Breda Scully was great support throughout the lead-up – she showed great attention to detail and dealt with all of our requirements professionally throughout.
Ger in the restaurant and Liz on reception were super. Ger was mentioned to me by a number of our guests although I didn’t meet her myself – her friendliness and attention was highlighted. Liz managed our VIP guests extremely well and dealt with rooming our guests very efficiently. Steve, Keith and the Night Duty Manager John, as well as the Banqueting Manager, did a great job. I’ve only named the key people but the staff overall were great. They are all a credit to the hotel.

Yet again, we have had a very successful Gordon Bennett event in Mount Wolseley and have received very positive feedback about the hotel, refurbishments and parking arrangements. Please convey our thank to all your team in the Sales office, particularly yourself Fionnuala and Bernie who were always so helpful and available. My contact with Magda in Reservations was excellent and during our stay the Reception staff and Sinead , were more than helpful. The staff at both the buffet and at the dinner were excellent and most helpful with anything requested of them. The food and service was very well received and our thanks to all concerned. In addition, the staff who helped set up the registration tables were very patient with our request for extra tables and covers, so many thanks to them also. We really appreciate the efforts made by everyone in Mount Wolseley to help us make this our 48th Gordon Bennett so successful.
Just a quick email to say many thanks to you and Ian all the hotel staff for an excellent weekend. Feedback from the players has been fantastic. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and I have never had so many people approach me looking for next year’s dates so they can be sure to book accommodation. I think this is definitely one of the most popular weekends of the bridge year, and the hotel contributes a great deal to that.
I cannot thank you all enough for everything you did to make our Christmas Party an amazing night. From check in to check out everything and everyone that works in Mount Wolseley could not have done anything more. Attention to detail, food, staff at the venue for set up and serving were just amazing. I am sure I am leaving some out but I have nothing but praise for every part of the event. So thank you so much again.

I can honestly say that the whole event from start to finish went absolutely terrific. It was a great success. Your staff for the whole weekend were brilliant, they were on the ball and so pleasant. Even your waiting staff were great. From a time perfective everything went great, everything was on time, your staff were great during the breaks setting everything up for us.
