Are there any changes to check in or check out?

Our check-in/check out time remains the same however, we will try our best to accommodate early check-in requests to reduce wait times and accommodate travel schedules.

Guests should adhere to the physical distancing in place in the lobby whilst checking in and checking out.” Please wait here” foot placements will be situated in hotels where the floor coverings allow.

Sanitising stations will be provided at the main entrance.

Reception Desk counters will all have a sneeze guard screen in the location where Guests are checking in.

Each guest will receive a Welcome Letter, which will contain key safety information and an outline of the facilities available, including what Covid-19 protocols are in place.

Elevator signage will advise that only two guests may travel per elevator.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Appropriate PPE will be worn by relevant employees and in adherence to any government or local regulations and guidance. Face coverings should be worn by customers in public areas, when arriving to and leaving their table when in the Restaurant and bar.

Hand sanitiser dispensers will also be placed at key guest and employee entrances and contact areas throughout the hotel and we will be conducting temperature checks for all staff on arrival to the hotel. Dedicated employees will sanitize all public areas and staff changing rooms on a more frequent basis.

Are there any changes to my room?

Government and WHO guidelines for cleaning and sanitising guest rooms will be adhered to. Frequently touched areas will be thoroughly disinfected regularly during your stay. (i.e. telephones, remote controls, safes, switches, handles, taps etc)

Extra pillows and blankets stored in guest room wardrobes will be removed, but available on request

We will not be operating a minibar service however all items will be available for Guests to purchase in our Aaron Lounge.

Tea and coffee making facilities will be available in the room

Rooms will only be cleaned on request. We will provide clean, towels, sheets, toiletries on request. This is to safeguard our team and guests.

What additional cleaning protocols are being introduced?

Industry-leading cleaning and sanitising protocols are used to clean guest facilities, with particular attention paid to high-touch items including television remote controls, toilet seats and handles, door and furniture handles, taps, nightstands, telephones, in-room control panels, light switches, temperature control panels, alarm clocks, luggage racks and flooring.

Will there still be a buffet breakfast?

Breakfast times in Frederick's Restaurant: 7.30 am - 10.30 am Monday to Sunday 

Buffet breakfasts will not be available until restrictions are lifted and it is safe to resume this service.  A hot breakfast will be plated from the kitchen and served to the table. Orders will be taken for Juice, Tea/ Coffee, Breads. Tables in restaurants and bars will be arranged to ensure appropriate distancing and menus will be laminated to facilitate disinfection.

Please note that guests are required to book breakfast time with Reception on check-in, this will allow us to prepare in advance for service. 

In addition, guest staying in our resort houses must also confirm if they would like to come to the hotel for breakfast and again also book their breakfast slot at check-in stage. 

Will the Restaurant and Lounge be open for dining and drinks?

Our Restaurant and Lounge is currently only open for Residents under the current Guidelines, we will reopen to non-residents on further instruction from Government.

Will the Spa be open?

Will the Golf Course be open?

Our 18 Hole Championship Golf Course is open and ready to play.  We have fantastic Stay and Play offers on our website so take the opportunity to enjoy this magnificent course during your stay.

Will the Children’s Club be open?

As we await further guidance from the Government, we will not be operating our Woolie Bear Kids Club. When restrictions are lifted, and it is safe to do so we will reopen this fantastic facility to our families. However, we have an outdoor woodland playground complete with zip wire for all of our little guests to enjoy.  We also have a lovely country walking trail. In addition, we have a Teen Zone for Teenagers to enjoy.

Will the Leisure Club and Gym be open?

Leisure Club – Swimming Pool & Gym Facility

Swimming Pool & Gym Facility:

• Monday to Friday we will operate time slots for our guests from 7.00am to 9.30pm 

• Saturday & Sunday & BH Mondays we will operate time slots for our guests from 8.00am to 7.30pm

Guests will be allocated 75 minute swim slots. If the guest wishes to avail of the jacuzzi, sauna or stream room, these must be booked separately to the swim slot. Bookings for the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are allocated to  30 minute slots.  Gym slots also must be booked separately. The gym slots are allocated to 75min slots.  These time slots must be pre-booked prior to arrival at the Leisure Club.  This pre-booking procedure will allow us to ensure the safety of our Guests and allow us time to correctly sanitise all of the  areas.

Please note that should you book a number of slots and do not turn up for the 1st of these booked slots without prior cancellation then the remaining slots will be automatically cancelled. 

Also should the number of slots booked not transpire then again future slot bookings will also be cancelled.  This system is in place to ensure there is full and flexible availability for all of our guest and to avoid unused slot times. 

Should guests not arrive to their booked time within the first 15mins, their slots will be given to another customer after the 15minute grace period.

Under the current government guidelines the use of the showering facilities are restricted. As a result we ask all guests to arrive prepared for their activity and return to their room/ holiday home for changing, to avoid disappointment.

Is Afternoon Tea available?

Our exclusive Afternoon Tea is available to book and we will designate a relevant area to ensure adequate social distancing. It is imperative that Afternoon Tea is booked prior to arrival to ensure adequate preparations are made.

Q: Can I arrange for amenities or gifts to be placed in the room? What do you offer?

We offer an array of amenities which can be added to your booking at reservation stage.  All of these amenities are listed on our website and include items such as chocolates, wine, champagne, flowers etc.

Q: What type of room should I book for three adults?

We offer ample sized triple rooms suitable for up to 3 adults, in addition, we offer interconnecting rooms should more space be required

Q: Do you have family rooms? Are cots for children available?

We have ample sized family rooms and family interconnecting rooms. In addition, we offer cots please request at booking stage.

Q: Do you have wheelchair-accessible rooms? 

We have 2 wheelchair accessible rooms, please request at booking stage.

Q: Does the hotel provide international adaptors?

The hotel provides international adaptors, please request at booking stage or on check-in.

Q: Do you offer hairdryers in your guestrooms?

We provide hairdryers in all of our rooms.

Q: Do you provide coffee makers in your guestrooms?

We provide coffee and tea making facilities in all of our rooms.

We provide Irons and Ironing Boards in all of our rooms.

The Resort is air-conditioned.

The Resort provides speedy internet access.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

Hotel rooms cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to arrival.

Holiday Homes cancellation policy is one month prior to arrival.

Q: What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served from 7.30 am to 10.30 am 

In addition, we offer Room Service Breakfast at €10.00 per tray


Q. What time does the Resort serve food?

The Resort offers Room Service between 9 am and 8 pm and food is served in the Restaurant and Aaron Lounge until 9.00 pm each evening.

Q. What fitness facilities do you have at the hotel?

The Resort offers an extensive Leisure Centre facility complete with state of the art gym, sauna, jacuzzi and 21-metre pool.

Q. Do you have a Spa at the hotel?

The Resort is home to the award-winning Wolseley Spa which offers an array of luxurious Elemis Treatments, see packages on Spa section of the website.

Q: Do you have a swimming pool?

The Resort offers a 20-metre swimming pool and kids pool.

The Resort is home to the award-winning 18 hole Wolseley Parkland Golf Course, designed by the late great Christy O’Connor Jnr. Extension packages are available to residents and visitors.
